A landmark shaped by deep cultural heritage. Mentioned in manuscripts from the late 18th century, its origins reach back to pre-Christian settlements. It is widely believed that ancient Lviv began here.

Mount Khomets

A unique natural site with preserved steppe flora. Its slopes are home to wild valerian, ninebark, wormwood, flax, and common hazel.

Svitovyd Field

The park’s highest point, rising to around 300 metres above sea level. Between the 7th and 10th centuries, a sanctuary dedicated to Svitovyd — the Slavic god of light and the sun — stood here.

Shevchenko Grove
